Doris’ Closet Consignment is the premier consignment store in Catonsville, Maryland, for nearly new and gently used designer, vintage, and better brand women’s clothing and accessories at unbelievable prices. We also offer accent furniture pieces, and home décor to suit your every need.  Our unique and continuously changing inventory allows us to offer our customers flattering clothing for women of all sizes and ages.

Our designer clothing includes such famous names such as Donna Karan, St. John, Misook, Eileen Fisher, Escada, Michael Kors, Giorgio Armani, Dana Buchman, Joan and David, Tara Jarmon, and Custo Barcelona, among others. We offer style and savings, with many one-of-a-kind items at a fraction of the original price.

To complement our line of clothing, we also offer accessories such as shoes, boots, designer and brand name handbags, scarves,  and jewelry that will complement and enhance any outfit. Our consigners are chic, fashionable women  who have taken loving care of the items they entrust to us—and that we are now able to offer to you!

Nancy Klein, owner of Doris’ Closet, recently took early retirement after 30 years in careers as varied as proposal management, senior management, team facilitation and training, quality assurance, and writing and editing. When she retired, she had a crazy idea to use her strong management and organizational skills, coupled with a love of clothing, to open a consignment shop—and look what has happened. She named the store after her dear friend, Doris Van Doren, with whom she would go consignment shopping, the best kind of treasure hunt. She had hoped to open a shop with Doris when they both retired, but Doris died several years ago. Nancy named the shop in her honor, and feels Doris’ presence as customers exclaim over the treasures they find at Doris’ Closet, and return again and again to shop.

Nancy loves all kinds of clothing, from designer to vintage to classic to trendy. She enjoys helping others find just the right outfit and look for their coloring, physique, and mood. She hopes to meet you soon!
